Most of us understand the relationship of Water and the Body for energy, detox and hydration.
WATER for MENTAL HEALTH is not often talked about.
The brain consists of over 75% water and is the control panel for our body, sending and receiving electrical signals through our nervous system, which is actually an elaborate system of tiny waterways.
Tiny messengers called "transporter proteins" travel at the speed of light to carry life giving messages to every cell and organ via these waterways.
Messages can be delayed and distorted if the speed or clarity of the signal is compromised. Many experts believe that some of these distortions can result in nervous system disorders like ADD, Chronic Fatigue, Alzheimer's and mood imbalances.
Staying hydrated, by drinking a moderate amount of water, free of toxins and chemicals is paramount to an efficient communication network in the brain/nervous system.
